The 23rd Annual National MEITAL Conference 2025

The 23rd MEITAL Conference on Technology-Enhanced Teaching and Learning in Higher Education will be held this year  on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, in MUZA Museum in Tel Aviv. The following day, Wednesday, July 9, a Workshop Day will be held in Tel Aviv.g

Every year, the MEITAL Conference brings together many member so the higher education innovation and technology community, provides a platform for sharing research, development, and implementation of technology-based innovation in Israeli academia.g

This year’s conference theme “Higher Education in the Age of Generative AI (GenAI)” offers a rich program and will provide research, development, and technology practitioners in higher education a central platform for knowledge sharing and staying up to date on the latest developments in the field.gT

Conference Objectives

Understanding research trends  on adapting higher education to generative AI, including tools under development, integration, changes in teaching, learning and assessment methods, and preparing students for the changes taking place in employment market and in research

Creating a platform for sharing programs and technological applications that integrate generative AI in teaching, assessment, learning development, and research processes, including challenges and dilemmas associated with the introduction of generative AI in higher education

Creating opportunities for academic and professional discourse and aformulating a shared vision for the future of teaching and learning in higher education in the shadow of generative A developments
